YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy
SatAlign is a satellite-dish alignment utility. This policy explains what the app accesses and how it is handled.
Effective date: 12 September 2026Information processed on your device
When you choose to align a dish, SatAlign may access your device location, compass heading, motion sensors, and camera. These are used on your device to calculate pointing angles and display direction or line-of-sight guidance.
SatAlign does not record or upload camera footage. It does not detect satellite radio signals. Location, sensor readings, and camera previews are not sent to SatAlign servers.
Local preferences
Language choice, favorites, and recently used satellites are stored locally on your device. SatAlign does not require an account.
Analytics and advertising
The Android edition displays Google AdMob advertising for free users. AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device/app information, ad impressions, and interactions to deliver and measure ads. SatAlign does not send precise GPS coordinates or sensor readings to AdMob. AdMob and Google may process information under their own privacy policies. The iOS edition does not display ads or use cross-app tracking.
Firebase Analytics receives pseudonymous usage and device/app information to measure feature usage and improve the app. RevenueCat receives purchase events needed to validate Lifetime Pro and provide purchase analytics.
Purchases
If Lifetime Pro is enabled, purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier to validate the transaction, maintain the satalign_lifetime_pro entitlement, and provide purchase analytics. SatAlign does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple and RevenueCat may process transaction information under their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
Local preferences remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear the app’s data, or uninstall SatAlign. Because the current app does not maintain a SatAlign account or server copy of this information, there is no server account to delete.
